Read It Yourself is a series of traditional tales written to include a high key word count; they are graded in a simple way that gives young children a successful start to reading. Four levels encourage children to develop essential reading skills.
Level 1 is for children who are ready to take their first steps in reading.
Level 2 is for beginner readers who can read short, simple sentences with help.
Level 3 is for children who are developing reading confidence and stamina, and who are ready to progress to longer stories.
Level 4 is for children who are ready to read stories with a wider vocabulary.
Each level is also available as a boxed set and as a book-plus-audio CD pack.
